
Welcome to Cutteslowe Community Centre, the hub for a huge range of welfare, educational and recreational activities and events for local residents of all ages.
The Centre is run by Cutteslowe Community Association (CCA), a volunteer-led, not for profit organisation.
Community news
Free bike diagnosis, safety checks, tune-ups and repairs! Bring your bike to Cutteslowe Community Centre on Saturday 18th July between 1.15pm and 4.15pm, and Broken Spoke’s “Dr Bike” and our team of expert volunteers will help to get your bike road-safe and ready for the summer holidays. The service is free: the only charge will be for any spare parts used.
We launched the Cutteslowe Book Group on 22nd April! If you’re looking for your next read, why not join others who love books and talking about books in a new group meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm at Cutteslowe Community Centre. Cutteslowe Community Larder: from 2pm-4pm every Wednesday – open to all, The Larder has it’s own Facebook page where you can find out what £3.50 can buy you each week.
Citizens Advice Oxford: Drop-in sessions on Wednesdays from 1pm – 3pm at the Cutteslowe Community Centre provide free, independent and confidential advice about benefits, debts, housing, problems at work and consumer issues. Appointments from 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
Well Child Clinic: Wednesdays (every other week) from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Cutteslowe Community Centre. Sunnymead Minnows are providing drop-in or appointment based clinics run by a qualified health visitor, when you can come along to weigh your baby or ask any questions about your pre-schooler’s health. Sessions run once a fortnight alongside the Baby Hub – check the Sunnymead Minnows Facebook page for other dates. Age UK Coffee Afternoon Get Together: every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1:00pm – 3.00pm at Cutteslowe Community Centre. Drop in for an afternoon of activities, quizzes, singing, crafts and much more. Bring your own knitting or sewing or a game to share. Tea/coffee, biscuits and cake will be available. £1 per session. Clubs and Groups: Seniors and Evergreen Social Groups; AgeUk drop-in coffee afternoons; Monday Family Art Club; Summertown Rainbows and Brownies; Drama with the North Wall Arts Centre; SEN Support Group; Groups for parents and children under 5; Baby Hub for babies under 1.
Classes: Portuguese for kids; ESOL classes (English lessons for foreign speakers); Lithuanian Folk Dancing; FunFIT+ sessions for older adults; pilates.
Our ‘Sunnymead Minnows’ offer fun sessions for parents and under 5s.
