Centre run clubs/activities
Dance ClubTuesdays 3:30pm-4:30pm , With Tingting Yang
for children aged 5-11years - £3 per term Exercising & understanding movement, through exploration of dance styles from various cultures and traditions. All levels welcome! Session begins at 3:30pm, however children being collected by the leader from the school will be collected by 3:15pm Contact the Centre office to enquire or pick up a registration form. Community LunchEvery 2nd Friday of the month from 12:30-2:00pm
(food served until 1:30pm) A friendly welcoming café providing an affordable, delicious two-course meal cooked by local people for the community. Some produce is grown locally on our community allotment. Come and join us and get to know more of your neighbours! Art ClubThursdays 3:30pm-4:30pm, With Helen Edwards
For children aged 5-11 years £3 per term Parents and carers are welcome to come and join in exploring various materials and ideas including paint, clay, mask-making, sculpture and book-making. Make work to take home or for exhibition. & Thursdays 12:30pm-2:00pm Free English lessons run by volunteers of the Oxford Hub. These are informal beginners classes, open to anyone who wants to improve their English. Providing the opportunity to practice conversation, develop your vocabulary and learn about topics which are useful for work and day-to-day life. Part of the Generation Games Programme run by Age UK Oxfordshire, this class is aimed at people with Parkinson’s but also for those who simply want to improve their strength and balance. Chairs are used as a support and a range of equipment is used. As well as promoting good health it's a very supportive class which is sociable and a great way to boost confidence!
