Activities

Please see below for some information on the of weekly groups and activities held here at the Centre run by ourselves, partners, and independent groups and organisations.  If you would like a little more information on the activities listed below do contact us for further details. 

Centre run clubs/activities

Dance Club

Tuesdays 3:30pm-4:30pm , With Tingting Yang
for children aged 5-11years - £3 per term

Exercising & understanding movement, through exploration of dance styles from various cultures and traditions.
All levels welcome!
Session begins at 3:30pm, however children being collected by the leader from the school will be collected by 3:15pm

Community Lunch

​Every 2nd Friday of the month from 12:30-2:00pm
​
(food served until 1:30pm)


A friendly welcoming café providing an affordable, delicious two-course meal cooked by local people for the community. Some produce is grown locally on our community allotment. Come and join us and get to know more of your neighbours!

Prices:

Main course -£3.50
(vegetarian options and smaller portions for children)
Light option of soup and freshly baked bread - £1.50
Dessert - £1.00

Art Club

Thursdays 3:30pm-4:30pm, With Helen Edwards
For children aged 5-11 years £3 per term

Parents and carers are welcome to come and join in exploring various  materials and ideas including paint, clay, mask-making, sculpture and book-making. Make work to take home or for exhibition.
Session begins at 3:30pm, however children being collected by the leader from the school will be collected by 3:15pm

FELLOW English Lessons

​Thursdays 12:30pm-2:00pm


Free English lessons run by volunteers of the Oxford Hub. These are informal beginners classes, open to anyone who wants to improve their English.  Providing the opportunity to practice conversation, develop your vocabulary and learn about topics which are useful for work and day-to-day life.

​​Cutteslowe Seniors​

Fridays fortnightly
​
A thriving social and educational club for local people aged 60 plus. Cutteslowe Seniors meet every second and fourth Friday morning of the month, alternating a social meeting (usually with a speaker) with an outing to a place of interest.

​Family Club

​Mondays 3:15pm-4:15pm
​£1.50 per family


A fun place for all the family after school. With board games, table tennis, various crafts, lego, quizzes and not to mention great homework support,

Thursday 5:30-7:00pm,
Young people aged 11-16 years 


A club with a Christian focus led by youth workers and volunteers from St Andrew’s Church.
Food is provided and there is often a visiting speaker

Wolvercote Young People's Club is delivering a
detached youth work project every  Wednesday
 evening.  This means that they will have youth
workers on the streets of Cutteslowe and
Summertown shops every . In addition to this they will also be delivering small group work sessions to select young people throughout the year.

Sing and Sign

Strength & Balance Excersise Classes

Thursdays 1:30pm-2:30pm

Part of the Generation Games Programme run by Age UK Oxfordshire, this class is aimed at people with Parkinson’s but also for those who simply want to improve their strength and balance. Chairs are used as a support and a range of equipment is used. As well as promoting good health it's a very supportive class which is sociable and a great way to boost confidence!
