Volunteering with the CCA

Are you having trouble getting a job because you don’t have any experience and can’t get experience because you can’t find a job? There are ways to avoid this Catch 22 situation. One of those is getting experience by volunteering; another is by going on courses which take you in the direction you want to go in.

Cutteslowe Community Association provides many opportunities for volunteers and from time to time are looking for people who have skills and some time to contribute to their local community. It could be as little as an hour a week volunteering in a club with children or young people or doing some digging on our community allotment.

Current opportunities include:

Monthly Community Cafe
Community Allotment
After School Art Club
Community Events
Publicity/ Delivering Cutteslowe Now Newsletter

For further information on what's available at the moment please contact us.

Cutteslowe Community Allotment

If you're a Cutteslowe resident and have an interest in growing food, plants and flowers, we'd love to hear your thoughts and ideas on future plans for our allotment space.

We’ll be working closely with Cutteslowe Horticultural Therapy & Garden Centre, on a range of groups and activities taking place both around our allotment and over at their Garden Centre.

Whether you're a seasoned horticulturist or simply want to try something new, we want to hear from you!
