Hon. Treasurer Rita MacDonald - Korth
I am a Hungarian native and graduate of the University of Oregon, USA, where I studied Economics.
Following university, I was employed by Levi Strauss & Co. as a Trilingual Auditor/Accountant on
the Expense Management Team. Prior to that position, I created year-end fixed income sales-
performance reports to the COO, managed and streamlined documentation processes, and
enhanced organizational information sharing for J W Korth & Co. as a Junior Analyst.
My experience in the non for profit sector took place first at University of Oregon. I was a member of
the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, an organisation that raises funds and organizes treatment
for terminally ill children. I continued my work in Miami, Florida with an organisation called The
Breakthrough Collaborative. As an Educator/Mentor, I taught Algebra, German language and
Physical Education to children aged 8-14. This organisation specialises in providing education and
emotional support to outstanding young students from disadvantaged schools and backgrounds.
Currently, I am dedicated and put all my effort into improving Cutteslowe Community Association’s
financial position, expanding the charity’s size in order to employ more people, and increasing the
geographic, social and demographic zones the charity aids and supports.
