6/6/2014

Oxford Festival of Nature 2014, Sunnymead Park and Cutteslowe Community Centre on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th June.

The event will give an insight into the diversity of living things that surround us in the heart

of the city. There will be a wide range of activities run by locally-based wildlife experts,

which will engage participants with many different aspects of local wildlife,

including bat walks, tree trails, crayfish traps, wildflower identification, worm charming and

moth trapping.

Science Oxford is working with Cutteslowe Community Association and Cutteslowe

Primary School to make this an even better event than 2013! The Festival will start with

a Family Fun afternoon on Friday 6 June.

It will conclude with a Wildlife Fair on the afternoon of Saturday 7 June.

Cutteslowe Fun Day and Festival of Nature

The Festival started on the morning of Friday 6 June with celebrations for the visit of the

Queen's Commonwealth Games Baton to Cutteslowe Primary School.

There will be a family fun  afternoon with sports and games.  Then there will  be a

‘BioBlitz’ led by BBOWT to record all the  types of creatures and  plants living

in  Sunnymead Park. The  Festival will continue with a Wildlife Fair on the

afternoon of Saturday 7 June, on Cutteslowe and Sunnymead Parks including bat

walks, tree trails, crayfish traps, wildflower identification, worm charming, moth trapping

Archives: Our Community Centre needed renovation.

21/5/2014

Now we are happy to show you some pictures with our new window and doors.

The big windows in the rooms fill the space with lights and provide views of the nearby

beautiful Sunnymead Park.

The Centre now offers even better environmentally friendly accommodation for a range of

activities,  but also with our unique friendly atmosphere. Why not hire or rooms or just visit

us?
